Írjon visszajelzéstI recently visited the Old House Restaurant and ordered a steak biscuit. It was served hot and quickly, and I was not disappointed. I highly recommend that anyone in the area give this place a try, whether you choose to dine in or grab something to go. Enjoy!
What’s not to love? Step back in time to an era before fast food restaurants, and you’ll feel the difference as soon as you pull into the usually bustling parking lot. This place operates for all the right reasons, offering hometown cooking and genuine hospitality. If you’re in search of chandeliers and gourmet dishes, this isn’t the spot for you. Instead, you’ll experience a sense of what life was like in small communities, where the locals greet you with warm smiles and a friendly hello. The food here is fresh and homemade, and I personally find these small, local establishments to be incredibly fulfilling. It reminds me of visiting my grandmother's house—nothing fancy, but filled with love and delicious food.
I lived in Statham for nearly four years, and I'm really upset with myself for not discovering Old House sooner! My uncle from New York visited and mentioned it to me. It's safe to say this place has quickly become my go-to for lunch! I absolutely love the chicken tenders. If you don't check it out for lunch, you're seriously missing out. But that just means more for me!
Hot food, fast. Tasty and cheap. Not imagination that deserves additional points in my book. Breakfast and lunch. Buy a local church cookbook while you are there.
Absolutely love this place! Usually a bit of a wait, but well worth it!
