Írjon visszajelzéstI've only been here for weekday lunches. It's a quiet, relaxing place with great Indian food. I've loved everything I've tried on their extensive menu.
Chicken curry hot is fantastic. Vegetable poquora(I butchered that) for an appetizer. Taj Mahal beer goes great with it and a side of garlic naan. What I get every time Kid-friendliness: I’ve seen several children in here. My kids 10/12 love it. I wouldn’t bring a screaming child in
I wanted to treat myself to something different. Then it hit me... That Indian place across the street. I went online to look at the menu. I ordered... Lamb Boti Kebab Masala, Garlic and Keema Naan. Since I was ordering it to go, I was told to come back in 15 minutes. When I walked in the door, 5 steps in I could smell my order. I don't like spicy foods, so I was asked how spicy did I want it. Let me tell you... It was and had the right amount of spiciness. Not too much and not too little. I couldn't wait until I got home. From my porch I can see the restaurant. I made me a plate, and I tried very hard not to lick my spoon. I didn't. I sat down with a sugar free Sprite and... OMG!! The smells, and the taste. Before I knew it, my plate was empty. But I didn't go back for a second plate. I broke everything down into three more servings. Right now I have one more serving left. The food is very tasty. The last time I had Indian food was in 1989. I was working for a guy who owned a news stand in Parkchester tarin station in The Bronx. I brought comic books from him, and one day he asked me could I help him out. He taught me how to run the Lotto Machine. I made a lot of mistakes, and I purchased these tickets. I won a lot of times from my mistakes also. He invited me out to dinner, but he ordered and didn't bother to ask me did I like spicy food. My forehead was sweating, but I still enjoyed the meal. This restaurant and it's food reminded me of the time...with David. David isn't with us anymore... But I ate a forkful for him. I surely going back to this restaurant. I want to try everything in the menu.
Some of the best Indian food I've ever had! Portions are definitely big enough to share, so you can enjoy leftovers later or share with a group for a tasting experience. Spice levels are accurate for white people like myself, which I appreciate even though I've enjoyed Indian food for years. Definitely eat here when you're in Staunton!
The food is amazing and they treat the customers with respect and I have eaten here many times the food has always tasted good especially the gobi muchrian
