Old 10 Bistro - Stevens Point

When opened during the soft opening in the first week. We ordered asparagus and pulled pig slaughters for Hors d'oeuvres. The organic steak and beef straw are Entrées. The pulled pigs were good, but not exceptional, the asparagus on the other side came with a very beautiful horseradish sauce that perfectly complements the asparagus. Our steak, the local organic steak from Amherst Junction, was perfect nearby. The Stroganoff I'm usually not a big fan, I enjoyed enough that I would order it again. My only complaint about the whole place was the drinks in the bar. You have a decent wine selection at reasonable prices. But no local craftsman had beer I found strange. This was also the first week in which they were open, and I made the proposal that they should have more craft beer.

This is the best steak place in Stevens Point! Great sides, perfectly cooked steak, great service. If you don't come here you're doing yourself a disservice!

Had dinner here at the suggestion of friends. Excellent menu options, food, drinks service. Highly recommend this gem! We will be back!

We received a smiling welcome from owner Matt. He explained about all the Wisconsin beers he carries, as well as many wine choices. We liked the wraparound bar which was great for conversing with other patrons. Our dining table overlooked the pond and pretty scene at the back of the restaurant. The room temp was just right, not freezing like so many other over air conditioned places. Our server Mary was most pleasant and friendly. We enjoyed our Friday fish, one of us choosing the baked cod, and the other choosing fried cod, with red potato wedges. We're definitely going back for blueberry bread pudding! A great evening and were anxious to go back!

We went to Old 10 Bistro tonight to celebrate our son's graduation from UW Steven's Point. We had gone here, when it had other owners, when we came for freshman orientation....so going here to celebrate graduation felt right!!! Tonight we had a wonderful dining experience; with excellent food and service. Each entree was excellent....My son LOVED the salmon....which was the special. My pork chop meal was so yummy....roasted to perfection and the roasted broccoli with cheese was the best I have ever had! Keep up the great job and we will be back! Thanks for a wonderful time at your fine supper club!
