Carribean Smokehouse - Stillwater

Had my reservations at the entrance, because the atmosphere was so different than what I expected. Last time I was here, it was Smallys Pirate Bar and I expected this kind of feeling. When entering, it felt kind of like a sterile environment I didn't expect. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We sat fast and brought drinks right away. The menu is quite minimal, which is both good and bad in its own way. But the food came in a good time frame and that is where the 5 stars come! The Jerk Chicken Street Tacos were absolutely perfect! They had the most incredible flavor combination with enough heat to keep my taste tingling. The mango was what she made so sweet and savory with the smokey taste! The salad my friend had was also full of smokey and sweet flavors. Will come back without a doubt! The staff was very close, I enjoyed how our waiter asked us about the food and was concerned with asking our thoughts about it. The atmosphere was only negative.

Chef Adam and the staff at Caribbean Smokehouse were so kind and flexible when planning our groom's dinner for our wedding. They provided a huge tasting lunch for us that made it hard to choose from all of the delicious menu items. We ended up going with their famous wings, Caribbean Cobb salad, shrimp and pork street tacos, and Dominican rice. The attentive service, setup in their upstairs semi-private room and the food was all top notch. Thank you for providing a perfect start to our wedding weekend. We will definitely be back the next time we're in Stillwater!

Everything I had at Caribbean Smokehouse was delicious! I tried the fried plantains (which I HIGHLY recommend), smoked wings, buttermilk fried chicken, and the vanilla bean cheesecake. Their drinks are all really good too. The service was also great and everyone there is really friendly. My group and I thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Caribbean Smokehouse, and we will definitely be back again! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who's looking for a good place to eat in Stillwater!

I was surprised on how much I enjoyed this place. There were so many flavors I have never experienced. First of all, never order a small Mac and Cheese- especially if you have a toddler at the table... it was delicious get the large! The jalapeño corn bread was something I’ve never tasted. It does have a good kick so if you don’t like spicy it won’t be your thing but it was a crowd pleaser at our table of 4! We also ordered the ribs which were nice and meaty, the dry rub had a lot of flavor, (the only complaint would be that we wished the spicy bbq had more heat) but definitely something that we will order again. The Caribbean Jerk Chicken Tacos were the icing on the cake: sweet and spicy flavors on a corn tortilla. Overall we were so pleased and will definitely be back if even just for the delicious sides menu they offer!

The entire staff was so welcoming and our server was top notch!! There was right of us and we all ordered something different and passed out plates around so we could try everything. We also ordered all the sides and shared them as well. Not a single plate disappointed! It was melt in your mouth, just the right amount of spice, kept going back for more! The atmosphere is so comfortable and warm. We will all be back time and time again!
