Matchstick Spirits - Stillwater

This place has everything! Great ambience, attentive staff, good drinks and delicious food! The restaurant is the lobby of the hotel, large open space, illuminated, but enough light to see, cute leather bound menus. Menu has a decent variety, at least one choice from each food group. We order the broken cauliflower and the bowl lick delicious Bucatini! The garbage selection was more than sufficient and good. Espresso Martini was delicious!

We went here on a friend's recommendation. It's a little hard to see from the street, but it's nice on Main Street in Stillwater. If you love whisky, this is the place! You have a book, that's a book of whisky. The staff was friendly and the food was also good. The brisket tacos were tasteful and juicy, I would recommend them!

This was our first time to eat at the matchstick and it was fantastic!! We tried 4 different dishes a day they were all excellent. We had their cocktails, so we knew that was great. Perhaps the best part is that the terrace dog is friendly so our dog Guinness will come to us! It was a wonderful anniversary dinner.

Attentive, friendly staff serving delicious menu items. 12 in our party, every meal looked as good as it tasted. Many and many expensive liberations row the walls to awaken your interest.

I absolutely loved the interior design and decor of Matchstick. There is a lot to take in and observe when you enter the restraunt. I didn't order any drinks, but the bottle selection that they have is truly remarkable. Everyone I was with was impressed with the food and selection of bottles as well. I never caught our servers name, but she was great too! I ordered the brisket tacos and it was delicious. The brisket was tender, and it was complimented nicely with the slaw, cotija, and radish. They kept it simple without going overboard on ingredients, and it was sophisticated in flavors. Toasting the tortilla was important to incorporate the dish together because nobody wants a soft, cold, and soggy tortilla. It was on the pricier side for two tacos and the food takes a little longer to come out, but it was executed perfectly.
