Red Lobster - Stillwater

My son didn't get his meal until my husband and I were done with our meals and we both got the ultimate feast. And my son did not get his Mac and cheese.

Food poisoning. I got food poisoning from eating at red lobster last week on Thursday February 15, 2024. All I had at red lobster was the New England cream of crab soup. When the soup came, I tried a spoonful and it didn’t taste right and I suspected that it was tainted so didn’t eat any more of it. All I ate was a salad and a spoonful of soup. I didn’t eat at any other restaurant on that day.By Friday morning I was throwing up my guts and I had severe abdominal pain. I spent all day Friday in bed, all day Saturday in bed, and all day Sunday in bed Just trying to get some rest and drinking lots of water. I had read on the Internet that the food poisoning usually clears on its own after about two days, but that didn’t happen in my case.I went to the ER on Saturday because I have not been able to have a bowel movement for four days and I suspected I might have a blockage caused by the food poisoning.The hospital did a CAT scan on me at the ER and did not see a blockage, but they did see a lot of irritation and inflammation in my intestines.Red lobster has always been one of my favorite restaurants. I wish there was one here in Ponca City but apparently we don’t have enough people in our metropolitan area. I have eaten at red lobster in Stillwater for 20 years. So it pains me to have to update my review .I will not be eating at red lobster again.

We ordered an appetizer and got the wrong one. Didn't get my baked potato until we all finished eating. Steak was burned. 2 of us that ate the calamari got so sick. Had to ask for straws and biscuits. Won't come back!

Went there last night for my daughter's wedding dinner and the service was terrible, there was nine of us and 5 had lobster and we had to ask 5 times for butter and lemon and we were brought out one small cup of butter and no lemon and 3 of us ordered salad and they were brought out after we were done eating so last night was the last time we will spend our money at this establishment.

Absolutely appalling. A total waste of $100 dinner for two. Everything was horrible from the first step in to the last step out...
