Rj's Steak House Erasmia - Stinkwater

Are they open again? They had issues and were closed by the end of 2019. I hope they have reopened. Best onion rings in the city that I have tried so far.

So impressed by these guys! Really turned this place around! The food is epic, the jalapeño steak, the shotblast steak and the spicy chicken nachos are definitely winners. They make a decent latte too. The new owners are really attentive... keep it up!

I have eaten COUNTLESS times at this particular restaurant. Once, I ordered breakfast to be delivered and one of the sides were missing. Apart from that particular instance, I have never walked out disappointed! My favorites are the Shotblast Sirloin, Lamb ribs and any of the many milkshakes. This is hands down my preferred restaurant. Owners are always on site and service has always been first class. The fact that I drive ALL the way from Johannesburg South just to eat here, says a LOT. I'm amazed at the negative reviews shared here. Being a store owner myself, I understand some people are just hard to please. Keep up the good work. -A customer for life!

So we came here on two occassions after they had just opened in Erasmia and both times were really bad experiences. very little pride was taken in the preparation and presentation of the food.<br/ <br/ We were invited back a few months ago and told the owners are on the premises more regularly, we could see a huge improvement in service and pride in preparation and presentation has been restored- the food is also really good. <br/ <br/ We had the shotblast sirloin and a rib and steak combo platter. The shotblast sirloin had a delicious flavour with just the right amount of hot to complement the cheese. Ribs were grilled to perfection and basted in RJ's famous basting rendering a juicy rack of ribs. <br/ <br/ for dessert we shared a sizzling chocolate brownie... OMW. I would return only for that

My first time here wasn't so great as I had the expectations of her Durban branch and was totally disappointed.I then returned to try them out again as they were recent years opened when I first came and they're getting back into action.I had the jalapeño steak and it was done just the way I wanted it. I see they have this new Sunday buffets which I really need to go for coz it looks promising.
