Aqui Tapas - Stockholm

Amazing food, sangria was great start to a delicious meal. We ordered 9 plates (2 desserts) and this was the right amount for 2 people. I would happily go back the moment I'm hungry and do it all again. Outdoor seating set a lovely atmosphere. The fried artichokes were phenomenal, croquettes, steak, and shrimp skewers were delicious.

Stopped by for dinner after a long flight from the US as it was close to my hotel and open on a Sunday night. Ordered: Razor clams in garlic and lemon sauce (85 kr): The main reason I chose this as razor clams are not common in the US. Unfortunately the clams were a bit over cooked and tasted like they were previously frozen. The flavors were solid though. 3.5/5 Rack of lamb (98 kr): Excellent seasoning, very tasty. Cooked medium so would ask for medium rare if you prefer that. 4.5/5 Garlic bread (39 kr): generously seasoned with garlic and butter. 4/5 The decor and service seemed a bit touristy but the flavors were bold and prices reasonable, so would say this is a solid choice in the neighborhood.

This was a true highlight of a dining experience for us in Stockholm. We were lucky to have walked past this terrific place. We were staying in a rental unit right around the corner. We found a fantastic menu of tapas and enjoyed their special sangria. Most important was the service. The wait staff, everyone of them friendly and super efficient. The variety of food was amazing and the taste was terrific. It is a lively place and this was on a weeknight. I think it must be a favorite of so many locals. I highly recommend it for a great dinner of tapas. Thank you Aqui for a great memory.

My cravings for tapas lead to another venue where they supposively served a lot of different dishes. Had a reservation for a wednesday night, but since its vacation times all over STHLM it wasnt needed. Staff was very friendly and genuinely Spanish which adds up to the atmosphere. Sun was smiling at us and degrees were unusually above freezing, so we got a table outside on the patio across the street. Think we tried about 15 of 50 different tapas which all were good sized and well tasting. Plates are priced on a fairly level which enables you to go on a real bout, without spending your savings. After the mandatory Sangria you can always try order in Spanish and after all, you will probably sum it up as me, a great evening!

Very pleasant atmosphere. Very good for catering to larger groups. Food was a lil pricy but delicious. Sangria and other drinks far too expensive.
