We visited for a Christmas lunch. The set meal featured traditional Swedish Christmas starters like cold prawn hors d'oeuvre, lox, marinated herring with Kalix Löjrom, duck liver pâte, ham, Västerbotten cheese, crispbread and spice bread. This was followed by a warm main of duck breast with root fruits accompanied by fried kale. Dessert was a dark chocolate mousse topped with soft maraschino cherries and a fruit sobert. Drinks cost extra. Overall fantastic, professional staff, classic setting. We were seated with a lovely view of a wintry Kungsträdgården. Food wise, the crisp bread and cheese were amazing and marinated herring was fresh. The duck breast was a letdown, overcooked and hard. The dessert is a chocolate and cherry lovers' delight but didn't appeal to me. My order of Chardonnay was a pleasant drink that was full of flavourful notes. The Swedish brewed coffee was a smooth medium roast that provided a good wrap up to our visit. It is not mandatory to have the Christmas set as you can also order á la carte. Reservations recommended as this restaurant is very popular.
Decent, but just not there at all! We had the tasting menu and the flavors were to some extent both interesting and rewarding, but so many times just not well combined! Also the service had problems helping us with our drink selection and didn't/couldn't present the dishes. The vanilla bavaroise and the entre toast were the best dishes!
We visited a Christmas dinner. the set court had traditional Swedish christmas beginners such as cold garne d’oeuvre, lox, marinated hering with kalix löjrom, deenleber pâte, washbasin, västerbotten cheese, knackbrot and aromabrot. then followed a warm head of the duck breast with root fruits, accompanied by fried cale. dessert was a dark chocolate mousse, which was with soft maraschino and a fruit sober crook. drinks cost extra. totally fantastic, professional staff, classic ambiente. we sat with a beautiful view of a wintry kungsträdgården. eat, the crispy broth and cheese were amazing and marinated hering was fresh. the duenbrust was a farewell, overcrowded and hard. the dessert is a chocolate and cherry lover, but has not attracted me. my order of chardonnay was a pleasant drink that was full of tasteful notes. the Swedish braukaffee was a smooth medium-sized brat that offered us a good envelope for our visit. it is not necessary to have the Christmas set, as they can also order á la carte. reservations recommended as this restaurant is very popular.
