Salad, papadums with condemens, sweet tea and water was free, as were coffee I chose the Madras chicken and my husband the mango chicken. I looooved mine, it was spiced perfectly, my husband was thrilled about his mango, not so spicy but to his liking. For Stochholm it is VERY cheap lunch, and we talked about that it was a pitty we only found this gem the last day, would absolutly come back again!
Having read all the good reviews I thought I would give it a go. It’s very average, there are a look of vegetarian options but this is standard in Indian cuisine. It always worries me when I hear a microwave pinging, it taints the food in a particularly unpleasant way. Portions were ok but it way mainly sauce. Won’t be going back.
Nice food, quick service, reasonable prices. Both my wife and me hade dishes in curry sauce. Mine, with chicken and peanuts had more flavours than her vegetarian choice. But both absolutely ok.
Got takeaway from here twice in the 3 days we were in Stockholm. Authentic Indian, delicious flavours and spicy when it was supposed to be! The manager even helped us navigate the buses to get back to our hotel on our first night. It was packed both times we went in, so clearly we weren't along in thinking it was great.
Friendly and helpful service. I had king prawn balti which was very tasty. My wife had a meium prawn curry which was full of fresh spinach and, she said, tasted beautiful. We were a bit incompetent at inputting a tip on the card reader because the instructions were in swedish so they deserved more.
