Kaferang Skaanegatan - Stockholm

Visited a couple of times during my visit to Stockholm recently and I really loved this cafe. Great coffee and the lunch I had was amazing. The staff are very friendly and its usually not too difficult to get a table.

Been here one time before and today we decided to go there for breakfast with our little girl. The place is quite large so a bigger group will fit here. There’s both high tables and normal with a long sofa on one side and chairs on the other. Easy fit a few strollers. Beware there’s only one baby chair here. Outside there’s seatings as well with heaters and blankets. Probably best to be here in time since it started to fill up after 10.00. The menu is nice and the Açaí bowl was good, but still not as good as the one we had in Puerto Rico 5 years ago. It’s a bit expensive, would have liked it a little less expensive. We also tried the egg sandwich and the bread was a bit chewy but richly with eggs and mayonnaise. Pancakes was also very nice with sirup and fresh fruits. With this we had two caffelattes which was very nice. Not too much milk, foamy and great taste. They were kind to serve a glass of milk for our daughter for free and also a little raspberry marmelade for the pancakes. There’s a whole menu with great stuff here, classic croissants and homemade pieces of chocolates, Italian pastries, fresh juice and much more. We will definitely go here again.

It s better to book a table because the place is always full. We had a really nice lunch there with friends! The portions are good and their juices really nice you should try one of them! Really good presentation of the plates

The best bit about our lunch was being able to sit outside and enjoy the great vibes, helped by the band at the next door restaurant. The place was packed. Bizarrely there was no English menu we were told to look online at their website which proved useless so we relied on Google Translate instead. I had to wait 10 minutes to order at the food counter although the prices were more reasonable than in other parts of Stockholm. But the food did come pretty quickly after that. The tuna steaks were perfectly cooked. The salad was simple and a bit uninspiring.

Nice to sit on the patio but inside looked cozy as well and lots of space without being cramped. Good value as it is not expensive and my sandwich and my wife's salmon salad were great. It checks all the boxes to hang out and eat a light meal or have a coffee.
