Wonderful service and always bustling with customers. The fish portions are generous enough to share, with a delightful light batter and made fresh to order. A perfect example of a traditional chip shop.

If you are visiting Stockport , come and try the best chippy around. Cooked to perfection , the premises are absolutely spot less and the staff are second to none.

After the change in management, we noticed a decline in standards, with a limited menu and less friendly staff.

Had chips with steak kidney pudding today but the chips were dry and not hot. This used be a good chippy but I'm afraid I wont be back. Poor standard

The Britannia Fish Bar is consistently good. It is very popular and they cook the food fresh for the customer. the fish is substantial bt you can order a small fish if required. Other dishes are also offered from pies to kebabs
