This is our favorite local spot for delicious fish and chips and Chinese cuisine. It may not be the closest option, but we always make the trip to go here.

Tonight we ordered two portions of fish and chips and peas. We were told that the fish would be 5 minutes and were surprised that in less than one minute an employee from the back came with two broken fish and went on to... wrap it up. My partner and I looked at how we thought it was strange (we usually don't use this chippy), when we came home and cut into the fish, it was raw and sleepy! The chips were boiled and edible! We had to tie the whole lot!!!

I recently moved to a place very close to this restaurant and have already been there twice - once for lunch and once for dinner. The first time, I tried the chips and gravy, and the second time I had curried mixed vegetables with boiled rice. Both dishes were delicious and full of flavor. As another reviewer mentioned, the curry sauce had a nice spicy kick to it. There are not many vegetarian options available, which is why I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5. However, the one downside was that my second dish was quite greasy. I'm not sure if it was the curry sauce or the way the vegetables were cooked.
