Írjon visszajelzéstI arrived for my online reservation that was confirmed, only to find the restaurant closed and dark. I was very disappointed, especially after paying for parking. This was highly unprofessional.
I went to this restaurant with my friend and were concerned to find it empty. I ordered a chicken Balti, but it was the worst curry I have ever tasted - there was no flavor at all. The rice looked unappetizing and greasy, which the chef claimed was due to the coriander and basil. They offered to make another dish, but I will not be returning here. My friend had a peshwari naan that was incredibly sweet and unappetizing. Overall, a disappointing experience.
This was my second visit to this restaurant, and I must say the bartender was excellent. The food was good, but being from the Balti central in Birmingham, I felt that the balti could have been a bit spicier. The naan bread was huge and the food was piping hot. We stopped by before going to a show at the Theatre across the street. If I am in the area again, I would definitely come back to this place.
Great service, polite staff, very unusual to have spice in yogurt dip for popadoms! Anyone who doesn’t like a lot of spice will have a shock. We ordered off the set menu, I ordered mushroom rice and my husband ordered pilau rice! We received egg fried rice. My madras Curry had the same spice heat as the yogurt dip and my husband had tinned carrots, tinned potatoes and tinned runner beans in his vegetarian madras. Disappointed
Very polite manager and staff I thought the meal was nice, however they do have spice in what you thought would be a yogurt dip, which was a bit of a shock and also do not do egg fried rice. I had tikka masala and partner had lamb Balti. He said he enjoyed it but a little salty. We ordered four drinks and the meal was about 50 pound. The manager was attentive and very funny. Overall a nice little meal as the restaurant is over road from theatre. They serve alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks.
