Pine Ridge - Stone Lake

Looked forward to their prime rib for Valentines weekend. Got there and was told 30 minute wait, 2 hours later was told almost….then maybe 2 minutes before ready to seat us we were told they were out of prime ? and a potato choice and soup! 1. Don’t tell people 30 minutes if not sure 2. Offer complimentary drink if someone is willing to wait that long 3. Ok Valentines weekend is not a holiday but wouldn’t you plan for a few extra and not run out? 4. At any time could have put other tables together to accommodate a larger group and not just have 2 tables for that! Or ask if group is willing to sit at separate tables, rather than serving smaller groups that came in after ours! We’ve been there before for fish fry and yes, food is awesome, as I’m sure the prime rib would have been, and the food we did get was good, but being made to feel like “chopped liver” we’ll probably never come back.

Food and service was great. However, if you reorder ONE of anything you cannot take any leftover food home. They will throw ALL of it away instead of letting you take the food you pay for. I understand if you order a whole other basket but we ordered 2 specific pieces of chicken since there wasn't enough for everyone we had in our party. The server said that she will lose her job if she gives to go baskets, so unreasonable and ridiculous. Such a disappointment and so wasteful. We will not be back.

Pick somewhere else. Would call our experience poor. Arrogant management with a too good attitude. Have eaten here in the past and really liked the chicken and beignets. Ordered it again. The place wasn 't that busy at all, so figured it would be a good leisurely meal experience. Food came and they gave our party some of the smallest pieces of chicken I 've ever seen. For a party of 4 who all ordered chicken they gave us 1 wing, a thigh, a tiny drumstick, and 1 breast. That 's it. For the price I 'd expect much more and also better quality. Cole slaw was watery. Potato was dry like it had sat for quite some time. Wife had fries and they were burnt. Heard them tell someone sitting nearby they couldn 't take dinner leftovers home because they had asked for extra beignets or something. That seems wasteful considering that food probably got tossed instead of being eaten, which is sad, throwing away a big platter of food instead of sending it home with someone who was paying for it. Won 't be back and would suggest for anyone reading this to go elsewhere. You can go to many other supper clubs or restaurants in the area and have better food and a much better experience.

What more can you ask for great food and friendly staff. Definitely worth every minute we waited! Fish fry is the Best I’ve ever had .

We bought a cabin in the area last spring and have been to Pine Ridge a few times over the summer . We especially enjoy the pit ham alfredo and the blackened scallops , tried the ribs last week and they were also very good. Also love going for the Spaghetti and Chicken on Sunday nights.
