The Round Hearth Cafe And Market Place

One of the coolest little cafes I’ve ever been to. The service was excellent and the atmosphere is something you absolutely need to experience for yourself! It seems they also have rooms for rent upstairs too at a very reasonable rate.

I haven't been here since high school which has been about 20 years ago.. went this past week and they have amazing breakfast and the prices are great! Service was amazing. My favorite is their Round fireplace with the hand painted hood of Stowe . Homey, warm and such a quaint spot!I got the BLT which was really good, I got the potatoes. The flavor was there for the potatoes but they were cold a little hard. My husband got the pastrami sandwich, it was so good!The coffee was amazing and the vibes were perfect. Highly recommended!

The atmosphere was cozy and rustic. I loved the bench seating around the central fire pit which was not at all smokey for indoors and a welcome reprieve from the cold rain. The breakfast potatoes were deliciously crispy. The lobster roll good but not special (meat piled on a piece of bread). The service is fast food style in that you place your order at the counter, wait until buzzed, then pick it up and seat yourself. That's all fine by me EXCEPT when paying it automatically asks for a tip. I'm a little irked by this growing trend. I don't know the service or what that entails, so I always put $0 then leave cash on the table as I deem appropriate. In this case I did all the work. No one brought me anything. The people at the counter were polite and friendly. I left $5 since someone has to clear tables.
