The Queens Head Inn - Stratford-on-Avon

We booked a room at The Queen's Head at the last minute on a Friday night and received a warm welcome when we arrived. We decided to have an evening meal. I had a delicious authentic balti, my wife opting for the carvery. The room was warm, spacious, had great facilities and a very comfortable bed. The room overlooks a main road, but it isn't a busy road and the secondary glazing in the room shields out any noise. The cooked breakfast was a very generous portion, ideal for anyone about to set off on long journey and the vegetarian option was particularly nice. Simon, the owner, informed us that he had only taken over the pub a week ago. He is an excellent chef and host, nothing was too much trouble for him and if that is the usual standard of service then he deserves great success. We will definitely be back when we next visit the area.

The service at this restaurant was absolutely fantastic, the food was great, and the setting was lovely. We decided to come here on a whim and we were impressed. My husband loves curry so much that he would have it for Christmas dinner if I let him, and he is quite knowledgeable about Indian cuisine. He has now declared this our new favorite curry house!

I recently visited this restaurant and was impressed by its transformation into an excellent Indian cuisine option! The staff was friendly, the food was delicious, and they had a great selection of wines. We started with poppadoms and relishes, followed by flavorful curries, rice, and the most amazing light and crispy peshwari naans. We finished off with refreshing ice creams to refresh ourselves. The quality of the food and the restaurant facilities are sure to make this place a hit. The spacious private dining area added to the overall dining experience.

The food was wonderful and the service was excellent. I will definitely be returning.
