Freeland's Diner - Stratford

Not very inviting booth seats need reupholstering and wooden seats, chairs tables need some sprucing up as well as floor needs good cleaning and a paint job wouldn't hurt either. No improvements since previous owners. Food was OK but I found it very greasy. Wouldn't come back for lunch but had heard great things about their fabulous breakfasts (which are all day long). Hopefully some cosmetic upgrades would be more inviting.

Great take on the southern classic with the chicken and waffles. Glad to see the restaurant doing well. Always go to see and old highschool friend doing well.

Always fantastic food and service. Highly recommend the breakfast hash, or if the Benedict. For lunch the Szechwan chicken is a must

Was my first day in Stratford. After a heavy home-moving session just walked to this nice warm place for late brunch. Loved the food and the easy ambience. It’s not a chain joint and you truly feel the local vibes. Cost and variety of brunch was greg. So happy to find this at a 2-minute walking distance from new home : :

First time eating here and was pleasantly surpis2d on the portion sizes! Home cooked, fresh made meals hit the spot. Having Gluten-free options as well even better. A must try place to fill one's belly.
