Houlihan's - Strongsville

We went to lunch today and the service was one of the best I've ever experienced! It started with the server Chris showing all lunch specialties and describes in detail the dishes he had tried. We started with chicken tortilla soup, which was very tasteful, only the correct amount of spices and the tortilla strips were still crispy. I had an article from her test kitchen menu, short Rib Lasagne. It was very good and was plated with a delicious, refreshing salad. My wife had the grilled Atlantic salmon and said it was one of the best salmon dishes she ever had, and she usually calls salmon. We finished the St. Louis Gooey cake, which was amazing. The cook came at least 3 times to make sure we were happy. They get the feeling that they are really interested in ensuring that their customers stay happy. Very recommended!

The food was delicious and the service was great. I had the fish and chips- the fish was WAY bigger than I was expecting, such good quality and quantity for the price. The vanilla bean cheesecake was divine. The hostesses near the entrance were so polite and pleasant. Our server Nikki with the short curly red hair went above and beyond. She was so attentive and made really good suggestions for us to try. She even explained how some of the menu items had been around for so long they were so good. I would 100% want to go back and sit her section.

We had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant. We brought our 3- and 5-year-old daughters along, and they had a great time too. The bartender, whose name I believe is Dustin, was fantastic. He suggested a Mandarin Martini that was so delicious I had to ask for the recipe, and he kindly wrote it down for me. Our food was exquisite, and even our little girls enjoyed their meals. This place is definitely a new and improved version of Houlihan's compared to what I remember from my childhood. I highly recommend returning!

I'm always thrilled to dine here, and I usually make it a point to stop by whenever I visit the mall. The Ahi Tuna appetizer is fantastic. Occasionally, the steak can be cooked a little more than I prefer, so I typically order it medium-rare to ensure I get it just right.

Wow! I absolutely love this place. The service was exceptional, and the food was even better. I hadn't spent much time at Houlihans before, but after my recent visit, it's now at the top of my list for dining out. The only downside for me is that I live in Euclid, while the restaurant is in Strongsville. Even though I’ve recently stopped eating red meat, the burger I ordered was one of the best I’ve ever had in my life.
