La Tolteca - STROUDSBURG

The Mexican food here is delicious! I would recommend 100% the Chorizo queso fundido appetizer. It was delicious and comes sizzling right on your table. The Enchilada Chipotle was great and the fried ice was very good! All our party tried was a good quality and the taste was wonderful. I would recommend 100% if you were looking for good Mexican food in the area!

The food was so good and everyone was so nice. It is very hard to find authentic Mexican foods prepared and served in this quality. The margaritas were delicious and strong. Every time I'm in the area, I'll make it here for dinner! I'm very happy with my visit.

I love the food. The children's menu is also good. You have such beautiful art throughout the restaurant.

Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, which added to the positive experience. We started with the table-side guacamole, and it did not disappoint. The woman who prepared it was warm and welcoming, though I wasn't sure if she spoke English. The guacamole had a wonderful flavor. For my main course, I chose the Molcajete Azteca, and it was huge! It featured ribeye, shrimp, chicken breast, pineapple, poblanos, onions, and melted cheese—packed with flavor! I would definitely order it again. It was served in a stunning volcanic rock bowl, which was a neat touch. My dining companion, Chas, opted for the Pina Loca, a dish similar to mine but without shrimp, served in a hollowed-out pineapple. I sampled a bit and found the flavors to be equally delicious. While I wouldn't say the food is 100% authentic Mexican, it was excellent in its own right. We've eaten in Mexico a few times, and the flavors do vary, but I'd happily enjoy this dish again. Overall, La Tolteca was a great find!

Everything was absolutely delicious! Alfonso, our server, was incredibly friendly. The fresh guacamole made right in front of us was simply amazing—hands down the best I've ever tasted. Everyone in our party was pleased with their meals. The food looked so appealing when it was served that I hardly had a chance to take any pictures. Truly amazing food!
