Twiggs Coffee Roasters - Sturgeon Falls

We went and were not impressed. hubby asked for sauce on the side for his wings. he had sauce on boiled wings. both pizzas ordered were very over boiled, and the frits flattered and old. the dame that took our order was not very friendly. I don't think she ever smiled. I doubt we will ever go back.

My tante and I were disappointed by our sandy wipes. truthahn and bark were cold cuts. the bagel was a bagel, but my fresh bread was just cut. my sister ordered zeasarsalat. the cryocon, the speck and the cheese was minimal. we had to. twice to get extra parmesan. the zeasar dressing came into a envelope. the Greek salate was ok. nothing special for the price. the lemon and celestial icestee was good. abducted in our meal. but the hope was great.

We have recently moved here and heard all the cracks about twiggs. we came about 2:30 Saturday afternoon and had luck getting a place outside with a great view. that is where the experience went sideways. we went in and put our order, went. side with our no. and waited and waited. Finally, a young lady came out and advised us that the beer we ordered was not available. in that they had only 2 beers available. Saturday afternoon and no beer. they had run out. then we waited and waited. finally our 4 sandwiches came out and they were good, but no poutine. then we waited. after 15 minutes our 2 commands came from poutin. overcooked frits, barely gravure and large cold cheese curds. our experience was less than wow. the young lady who brought our food was less than enthusiastic about being there. regrettable first attempt to support the natives.

When things get slow in Sturgeon, and they do, this is the place to hang out. The hot chocolate is amazing and we've recently discovered the wonderful breakfasts that are available. It's become our morning routine whenever we visit.
