Zeppelino`S - Stuttgart

So dissatisfied with this restaurant, we expected better but left disappointed and still hungry. When we called we specifically asked if there were vegetarian options available and we were told that there were plenty. To our dismay, there were only two options and one of them was the expected overpriced cheese spetzle, ugh! My husband who is not vegetarian ordered the fillet medium well and he received a chewy cold piece of steak that was tasteless and cooked well done. Our food was overpriced and very bland... We will definitely not be coming back, we do not recommend it and it’s sad because the staff was great and friendly. The restaurant has a nice ambiance but you can get much better elsewhere, sorry.

Good location, nice eating area and good food. Well cooked food and good service. Well worth a visit. You may be tempted by other eateries, but bear in mind that the chefs here are well trained, staff know what they are doing. You can’t go far wrong. Burger was lovely, I ordered the sweet potato chips to go with it. Club sandwich also looked great. Did not see or were offered disabled friendly toilet. Lady’s was up a flight of stairs so took some effort to get up and down the flight of stairs.

We were staying at the hotel, so it was easy choice.The food is excellent, although not a massive menu. What they did cook and serve was excellent and tasty.Its not that cheap though, which i found strange as 'The BlockHouse' Restaurant across the road is always rammed out. If they dropped the prices slightly perhaps it would loose that slightly 'empty' feeling, as it it a big place.Try less to cater for business people staying in the hotel and get foot traffic would be my policy, but then again i'm not a hotelier?

I had heard good things about this restaurant from work colleagues, so we thought we would give it a try. First, we ended up waiting over an hour get our food. It was so long that we were about to get up and leave. When we complained to the waitress, she told us it would take just a few more minutes and then she went into the kitchen and we could hear her mimicking us to her coworkers. That certainly did not improve our mood. When the food finally did arrive, it was less than impressive. I had the steak and my coworker had the fish. Neither one of us found the meal to be very good. And the prices are quite high. My suggestion - if you want a good steak, go to the Block House just down the street. Much better food and a lot cheaper.

We went to this lovely place upon a friend's recommendation. The ambience is very classic and tasteful.Food presentation and service were outstanding. My scallops were absolutely delicious and my husband's steak was one of the softest we had ever tasted.We also had a lovely red wine from the area.The restaurant is just in front of the central station so perfect for a meal even if you have only few hours to spend in Stuttgart.
