Sushi Bada - Suffern

Very impressed by this place. The service was extremely attentive. Stepped to the bar to ask a question about a drink I wanted to order but have altered a bit and the bartender (a nice blonde woman) gave her opinion and the manager came by swiftly and gave his suggestion and said he’d take care of making the drink right away. The drink was amazing just wish the glass was a bit taller as there was one huge ice cube clogging up 1/3 of the glass. The food was unreal, came in starving and ordered an appetizer and 3 rolls (they offer a combo roll offer (ex. 2 reg rolls 1 designer roll) for $28.95) which was extremely satisfying and seemed fair value considering how good and fresh the ingredients were. The waiter was cool and attentive but did somehow mess up my tables checks by switching them and part of my table ending up paying for each others as their payment system somehow malfunctioned right before the card inserted so they should figure out how that happened so it never happens again cuz it was a little crazy. Waiter suggested to refund and redo it and we declined and sorted it ourselves. Had no idea this restaurant existed as I heard from word of mouth. Never seen any marketing for this restaurant and drove by it 100 times without knowing it existed. If I had known I would have been here years ago, perhaps monthly. Overall except the payment annoyance, it was a great experience with really top notch and attentive and great customer service and one of the top 10 restaurants I’ve ever been to in terms of the food. Will definitely be going back soon.

Went in for dinner and it was perfect. All the ingredients are super fresh For starters ordered Adamame Fried Avocado the tempura was very light Avocado bomb with spicy salmon filling beautiful dish, tasty,but I would recommend a bit less sweet chili sauce on it Mains Chefs choice (and the chef made great choices! : starter:Ceviche with yellow tail,salmon, cucumber,mango in yuzo fresh,light ,great starter second: Sashimi assortment,this was perfect! Very nice combination and super fresh,the salmon belly literally melts in your mouth maon: Nigiri assortment had a nice wasabi kick and again super fresh fish ,well made rice In addition: Alaskan roll Apple,mango,tuna and cream cheese roll with a lovely hot sauce on top (forgot the name of the roll had a nice kick to it and the flavor combo was surprisingly good sweet potato roll nice light tempura vegi roll very fresh For dessert we ordered the vanilla ice cream and chocolate mousse cake delicious! The service was super quick and nice. Plenty of street parking in the area Definitely recommend we all came out very full and very pleased

I ordered takeout here from the other night and was so impressed! These are the rolls we got Bamboo Eastern Shrimp Tempura Eel Maki Dragon Tristate They were all great but I'd say top 2 were dragon and bamboo

In a word, perfection. The skill and respect with which meals are prepared is outstanding. For an absolutely delightful lunch, try the Trust Me. The Chef makes beautifully presented, strikingly delicious and completely satisfying dishes building a visually stunning meal from start to finish. I heartily recommend Sushi Bada.

First time visiting here. I went based off the Google reviews and was terribly disappointed. I sat at the sushi bar and was greeted quickly and within a reasonable amount of time my order was taken. Unfortunately, that was the extent of the service. After my order was taken I was completely empty on my drink for the rest of the time I was there. The portions we very small in comparison to other sushi restaurants I have been to. Everything including the soup, the salad, the sashimi and the rolls were all small. The price however was not. Overall I was not pleased and will not be returning. Nice place inside though.
