Eggcellence Cafe - Sugar Land

I’ve seen this place a few times and decided to give it a try. It is packed during the weekends so I went on a weekday. The food was pretty good. I had their chicken and waffles and we also got the Nutella crepe. It is a bit on the pricey side tho. I also tried their watermelon lemonade. I would suggest order the small as the large and small are basically the same size you’re just paying too get a small mason jar instead of a regular glass. I did not care for the watermelon lemonade tho. It lacked sugar. Staff was very nice and attentive.

Great breakfast menu. Eggs were just as I wanted a perfect over easy . Hash browns were good and the pancakes as well. Not too pricey. Host was nice, polite and helpful. I liked their black coffee. Atmosphere was great. Clean environment and amazing ambience. No long lines. Pick up a menu when you enter, order and pay at the counter, they will give you a number to put on table and serve you there.

This was our first time going . It was clean and spacious Seats especially for heavy set people is a plus . Self serve for drinks, silver ware and to go boxes . A little over priced to substitute some items , check before paying .Food: 5/5

Service at register was friendly. Person who brought our food was polite and nice. The Then everything else is on you. The food was ok. I felt it was a bit expensive for having to fill our own drinks, refill our own coffee get your own silverware and napkins. The avocado toast just seemed lacking. The fresh squeezed oj was wonderful. My boys enjoyed the pancakes.Wheelchair accessibility: The place has wide open double doors they are not automatic but they open plenty wide. Plenty of tables have half bench half chair. You can easily put a wheelchair at the table.Dietary restrictions: They don't really have very many more calorie options. A lot of the meals are 1000+ calories before you add in your side item, or drink.

This is my second visit to Eggcellence simply because I enjoyed the food during my first visit. The first time I enjoyed their shrimp and grits but I knew I wanted to come back to try the wings and waffles because they looked really good. Well I had them this time and they were very good! Definitely a fan of this restaurant now and will definitely be back for either of these two dishes!!
