Shipley Donuts - Sugar Land

Shipley Do Nuts is a Texas symbol. Go on and mention Krispy Kreme or Dunkin to Texans and they will quickly lay you know. It's not a real donut lol. I love to come to Shipley when I come to town for two reasons: 1) their hot regularly glazed donuts 2) THE COLATES What I love about their donuts is that they are yeastdonuts. According to their site, The Donut, which started it all was a glazed yeast donut. This donut has a light interior with a slightly crispy exterior and smeared in traditional glaze or a variety of other toppings including icing, sprinkles, nuts, coconut and cinnamon sugar. If you eat one of our yeast doughnuts, you can imagine eating into a cloud. The cloud aspect is true. If you bite into a Shipley donut, ask what Krispy Kreme? To be honest, I never had one until I came to Texas. I didn't even know what one was until my friend introduced them to me a few years ago. Everyone I'm going to get the same. Jalapeño and cheese. Amazing every time. Our order, if my friend and I are together, are the same. 3 glazed 3 kolache 2 bottles of water $12

Good coffee. Good donuts. They also have bottled beverages. Nice, clean, and quiet place to chat as you enjoy your beverage donuts. Staff is polite and helpful. Ample parking available.

I stopped by this morning to grab a quick breakfast for my team, and I absolutely love their offerings! The jalapeño sausages are a standout—so warm and delicious. It wasn’t busy when I arrived, so I was able to order right away at the counter. The place was very clean, and the service was not only fast but also friendly. Before I knew it, I had half a dozen kolaches, a dozen donuts, and two donut holes, all of which my team enjoyed immensely. It felt great to treat everyone with such tasty food!

It was nice to discover a place that just opened yesterday with Harvey in the city!
