Taqueria El Farolito - Suisun City

I'm a big fan of the San Francisco location off 24th and mission. I relocated to Vacaville and couldn't find a good authentic burrito. Came here and got exactly what I wanted. Salsa are delicious, chips are great and price is greaat coming in at 8.40$ for a super burrito!! I'll definitely be back!

There are only a few vegetarian dishes available, but the options that exist are quite good. Parking is limited, but the restaurant is wheelchair accessible. I visited for breakfast, and the price per person is about $10–20.

The food is great, but the ordering process is really frustrating.

However, during my recent visits, I’ve had a few disappointing experiences. One day, the Asada was overly seasoned and just too salty. On another occasion, the cashier charged me about $3 extra for the exact same burrito I always order. On two separate occasions over the past month, I requested extra sour cream, and it was spread all over the outside of the burrito, making it almost impossible to hold. I’ve also noticed that the heat level of the burritos varies drastically; sometimes they’re completely mild, and other times they’re very spicy, even though the menu doesn’t mention any added salsa. Just today, I ordered an Asada burrito that was mostly beans and rice, barely containing five or six pieces of Asada. The sour cream and cheese were nearly undetectable, and there was just one lonely slice of avocado. The beans had an odd taste, and they didn’t provide any salsa or chips. Additionally, I came in 30 minutes after they opened and had to wait about ten minutes before anyone acknowledged my presence while the staff hurried around setting up. There was no greeting, and they didn’t even make eye contact. It felt like I wasn’t even there. While one of the women working there tends to be helpful, the men seem indifferent and will ignore you if you let them. It’s frustrating to think this, but I can't help but feel that some employees might mess with my order because I’m a white customer, assuming I won’t know the difference. I really hope they can improve their service.

I am truly amazed by this restaurant! It's unfortunate to see it so empty, especially when the food is so delicious and worth every penny. Everything, from the burritos to the sauces, is packed with flavor. The owner is incredibly nice and gentle, and everything is made fresh. I honestly felt at home. The only downside was that it was quite hot inside; they might want to turn on the AC. Other than that, everything was fantastic!
