Carolina Crab House - Summerville

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The place was spotless, and the food was incredible. Our server, Alex, was superb and really made our visit special!

As we waited for our seafood boils, we noticed the cute coloring pages on the walls and even considered bringing our kids in the future. However, the music playing in the background was filled with explicit language, making it clear that this is not a place for children. When our food finally arrived, we were disappointed with the shrimp. They were tough to peel, chewy, and undercooked. The same issue persisted with the crab legs, as most of the meat was still stuck in the shell, requiring extra effort to pry it out. I brought my concerns to our server and asked him to take my wife's meal off the bill since she hardly ate anything. He refused and stared at me without offering any resolution. We ended up paying and leaving without any satisfaction from the experience. Overall, this restaurant fell short in every aspect, and we will not be returning.

I visited this restaurant yesterday and ordered a pound of snow crab. Later that evening, I started to feel unwell, but it wasn't too severe at the time. Unfortunately, I've been feeling ill all day today. My boyfriend and I have decided we won't be returning.

Everything here was very detailed! The younglings would love all the pictures on the wall. Excellent service, food so delicious.

The food wasn 't good at all. Our shrimp was very hard to peel and rubbery. The crab was nearly impossible to get out of the shell. The meat was all stuck to the shell and shredded. All the food seemed to be either undercooked or overcooked. Even the corn wasn 't good. The Cajun fries didn 't taste like Cajun at all.Service was not great. Our server offered us another meal, which we didn 't want. He wouldn 't take off the charge for the food we didn 't eat because it was so bad.We 've almost taken our kids here a few times, and I 'm very glad we didn 't, because the music playing was vulgar and full of profanity. Call me old-fashioned, but I don 't think I should be hearing the f word, n word, and suck my d playing in a restaurant with a kids ' menu at 6pm.
