Rommy's Cuisine - Summerville

I’m neutral with this. Their customer service is really good but the shrimp and grits I have some issues with. See I’m traveling and leaving back to Ohio tonight and visiting my hometown. So I wanted to have my favorite dish of shrimp and grits before leaving on the long drive where I might have to be in snow again because it was like that when I left. The first thing I noticed was brown gravy. I never had brown gravy for this dish but it can be used so okay. So I get home and dig in and the grits is super dry. There’s also an abundance of veggies. So I just ended up eating mainly the shrimp. I’m displeased with the dish but the guys were so nice. They have southern charm which up north they so don’t. I’m sure their other dishes rock but this dish here I am not feeling it.

I luv their food, but my favorite is the cabbage, cornbread, Mac, seafood salad sweet potatoes.

I ordered shrimp sword, my friend ordered the ribs. The ribs were edible, but the shrimps engraving. Terrible! Unseasonal! It was more like brown water over rice. My friend took the food back to throw it away. He told the owner we were dissatisfied he seemed surprised. He never heard that.

0 stars if I could! Wouldn't recommend eating here, I had better food from military defacs. The turkey wing flour ordered and got 2 chicken quarters. The rice should be white rice, yellow rice. Soul food?! TUH! The food is disgusting and too expensive, would I not feed it to a dog? sent me to the bathroom immediately after dinner! HANDSH!

So disappointed by my turkey and Gravy dinner. Turkey was so dry, very hard and tasteful old. The Gravy seemed skillful and had a funky taste of rice was old and dry. The only good was the green beans. Wish o had first read the reviews.
