Service was very good and we didn't have to wait long .Great Atmosphere and thankfully not loud easy parking which is a bonus prices affordable even though steak was expensive.
I was a little let down based on the rave reviews. The restaurant was packed on this Friday night and therefore rather noisy. The service was first rate, however my pasta meal was only average but my wife thought her chicken dish was excellent. Plenty of choices on the menue and specials board although I feel they're overpriced.
A (large) group of us went for dinner and so we were seated on 2 tables. We chose to get drinks from the bar rather than table service to make payment easier at the end of the night. Houdidni's were very accommodating with this. There were about 20 of us, and like most large groups, some people arrived before others. I asked for menus for the early birds to try and streamline the choice/order process but was told they don't do things that way - they like to give everyone their menus at the same time. Time to order and several from my table ordered one of the specials (steak). When one hapless diner asked for her medium rare she was told that 6 people had ordered steak and so they would all be done the same ( medium). Extraordinary! Never had that comment at any restaurant I have ever visited. That said I was told the steaks were fabulous by all who had them. The fish of the day was orange roughy with a lemon and garlic sauce and fresh veg. A lovely meal.Everyone seemed happy with their food so top points there. They also have an extensive wine list. I would certainly go again
I have been to this restaurant on many occasions and have never been disappointed. The variety of Italian food is varied and all meals including pizzas are made and prepared on site. From fine dining to meals that cater for all others at an affordable cost is a winner. The restaurant is a family affair from the front of house to the kitchenThe wine list is comprehensive with many sourced from local Victorian wine growing regionsA must for travellers and locals
We went for lunch and had a variety of dishes including lamb parcels, gnocchi and bean and pasta soup for mains and red velvet lamington, panna cotta and lemon tart for dessert. While the meals are in the higher price bracket, the quality was well worth it and the excellent service was greatly appreciated. We felt important and our hostess offered suggestions that were just right. I will definitely recommend this restaurant and return when the occasion allows. You may need to book.
