Thank you to Donna and the great staff at The Royal Hotel we had a lovely time as a big group. We were well looked after, had personalised service and our residents loved the senior meals! Donna was super lovely, helpful and made our reservation seamless!
It was my first time to come to this pub today for lunch to try the food, the food was nice, the only matter that this pub need to improve is about how the waiter works while they do the service. The owner should give them training periodically.
Popped in for lunch as I was enticed by the $9.95 pensioner menu. Scanned my QR code at the door and headed to the order counter where I was asked if I'd booked. (The place was half empty) I stated no so had to give my name and phone number etc. to book me in. I was told this was separate to the COVID check in. Ok then, so I ordered a small steak and proceeded to sit down. After 10 minutes one of the staff said she thought they hadn't taken my order so back to the order counter I went. From there on the meal appeared promptly followed a little later by my drink order. Steak was tasty and what I had expected at this price point. Can't expect champagne if you're on a beer budget.
Parma was OK, no customer service as such anymore. QR code in the middle of the table invites you into the Royal hotel to order your meals and drinks to your desired table and pay via the link that you have been taken to. Once completed your cutlery arrives with your drinks not far behind. Finally your meal arrives, reviews invited at this time........
