Roma - Sunderland

Great birthday meal, friendly staff, worthy of a visit!

My brother and I decided to try a new restaurant that was fully booked in Rome for Saturday happy hour. We started with a delicious tomato garlic bread appetizer. For the main course, I ordered lasagna and my brother had chicken with chips. We shared a bottle of house red wine and finished our meal with a dessert.

We had to eat before delivery (before lockdown) so we knew that eating was great. Now we're in lockdown and we knew the place was open, we had to eat something. like most takeaways at the moment we thought the dinge would take a long time to sort but not with roma. we ordered the food and they specified the delivery time and they were before place. the quality of the food is also great. can't blame the place. free bottle of wine when they spend over 35 pounds. they forgot to deliver it for the first time and when I came back, they immediately delivered it as apologetic. thanks for eating and service.

The dining experience was absolutely amazing and the staff went above and beyond. They were able to accommodate us even though they were quite full this week due to the Eat Out to Help Out scheme, while still maintaining safety and social distancing measures. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We dined there twice this week and will definitely return on our next visit.

We ordered a takeaway from roma last night the food was excellent and they added a free bottle of wine, would definitely recommend..
