Friendly and helpful staff. Just go. Really good pub food, especially the pumpkin and goats cheese salad gum! Only handle was mushroom burger could have been a bit bigger and it would be great to see a few more vegetarian options because the food was simply not much for your veggie friends! Thanks for a great time.

We love Waxy's. Such a good feed for so little money. They do $4 steak day with any purchase of a side dish every day. So we get two stakes with chips and salad for like $14 per person. Every day!!! Service is always with a smile and quick. Thank you Waxy's for looking after our dinner almost every day

Best beef dip sandwich I have had in Australia. Huge portion and absolutely beautiful. In the states it was called a French dip and man it made me homesick! I will definitely be back. 3 Weeks after the first time and I went back and it was even better!!! Best value for 's in Surfers.

I ate alot of food in the 2 days I spent in gold coast, this was up there with the best. The food was ridiculously cheap, but tasted soo good. I came here on Australia thinking it would be a mess. But the whole atmosphere was great, lovely service! The girl who took my order was great, live music was okay, but all around can't fault this place, will definitely be back next time I'm in the area
