A R's Cafe - Surfside Beach

We just moved here from KC and AR’s staff welcomed us with smiles, food suggestions, jokes and swift service. The food was excellent!

You can NOT beat the breakfast tacos here! They are the best in Brazoria County! The size alone are enough to feed you for 2 days unless you get the Gorda, you can eat that for 3 day! And the rest of their menu is just as delicious! Staff is amazing also!

Went in with my husband and 5 kids ranging from 5 -17 we did not get our drink order until we were sitting for 20 mins THEN 2 large tables came in after and were served drinks and FOOD before we even were able to order !! They included a 10% tip for a table of 7 and I don't mind tipping MORE but no not this time...SO I tell the man at the counter the situation when it comes time to pay (after going up 2x once to ask for drinks and the other time to ask if our ticket was even put in HE DID NOT CARE !!! NONE OF THEM CARED !!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK EVEN THOUGH THE FOOD WAS GOOD BECAUSE ITS HARD OUT HERE AND IF IM GOING TO SPEND 100 ON BREAKFAST at YOUR establishment with times being how they are ATLEAST act like you care !! Very disappointed

This is 1 of my favorite spots to eat at. However, this morning I ordered 3 street taco plates. All 3 people that ate them got sick and was hugging the porcelain 15 minutes after eating. Very disappointed.

Incredible breakfast taco and barbacoa, staff are all so friendly! This a must stop for me anytime I’m in town.
