Cook Out - Surfside Beach

This was my first visit, and I was blown away by the incredible food, as well as the warm hospitality and professionalism of the cashiers. The burger was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. And let me tell you, the watermelon shake was truly exceptional!

Food is not bad. Decent pricing. Sides super small. I got 3 onion rings and my wife received literally 4 tiny cheese bites. I ordered to-go's for 4 people and 2 orders were screwed up. I should've checked but they were super busy. Shakes were awesome. Totally worth it even if they f up your order!

The food here is fantastic most of the time! However, during my last visit, the burger was quite undercooked and served cold, and the bacon was in a similar state. The photo doesn’t capture it well due to my lighting, but the meat was mostly pink. While it's acceptable to have some red in steak since E. coli is usually contained on the exterior, ground beef mixes the meat, potentially spreading any bacteria throughout. This could be dangerous, yes, but it was still undeniably delicious.

I love Cookout, but this specific location has consistently poor portion sizes. This has occurred several times. Tonight, I raised my concerns and was told that the portion I received for double onions on my tray order is the standard size.

Ordered from the side window and it was a decent experience. The drive they was a bit busy at the time. It wasn?t a long wait for the food at all! I ordered two hot dogs, onion rings, and hush puppies along with a large iced tea (the tea is my fave andthey got the good ice) ???? Second time having cookout and I?m a fan. Super convenient and it?s comfort food as well.
