Irish Wolfhound Pub - Surprise

We were recommended this place through social media. My wife and I were looking forward to having dinner and listening to a local live music artist at the restaurant. However, we were disappointed with our experience here.

They have Killian's Red Irish ..My favorite beer in the whole world!

I had the Irish Stew today. I love this dish. A great big lamb shank, tender and flavorful with a wonderful brown sauce and vegetables. Delicious! I also had the Sweet Spicy Mary one of the best **** Marys I have ever had. My husband has the fish sandwich with chips. It was a thick piece of fish and he like it very much. The chips we're natural cut potato wedges. They looked great. Service was very slow, but there waitress it appeared she was the only waitress there until shortly before we left) remembered everything we asked of her, even though it was a long time between table visits. . She did a great job for all that she had going on. It was pretty busy with most tables seated.

The evening last night. we tried this restaurant on recommended by some friends and were very disappointed. two of us ordered the buffalo chicken salad, it was small, more like a midday salad. the salate was soggy and drowned in the salad dress. the buffalo huh was delicious, but that was certainly not an evening great salat. two of us ordered the fish sandwich dinner. the size of the fish fillets was maybe 2 x 3 almost as if the kitchen ran out of fish so that it served half portions. the Steak-Fries were also so tender. we should have ordered the burgers, maybe they would have been better. very disappointed. the waitress was nice although she didn't know how to react when she asked how our dinners were and we told her. not her fault. find new chefs.
