Cotto Al Mare - Surrey

I would like to express my gratitude to Cotto al Mare for a wonderful dinner! The service was outstanding, and the dessert was incredible! I've spent a lot of time painting this summer, and I always look forward to visiting the restaurant, where I truly feel like part of the family. Thank you once again!

Last night for our 21-year anniversary dinner here. great eating, our server was amazing. I had a pizza and my wife had the spinat lasagne. I took it off with drinks. the view of our table with view of the beach was incredible. it was the perfect way to drive our anneversary. definitiw will return to the future.

Eating was great, service was pretty good, and the prices were competitive to travel anywhere today. the calamari and capriccocia pizza were fantastic. the articoke fritti was a bit too salty and it would have been nice when it came with a soak. our server was really nice, but we would have appreciated a bit more attentive staff. the view from the terrace is simply beautiful. will come back in any case!

Our server, actually most staff we interacted with were friendly and welcoming. Service was very good. We waited quite a while between receiving our starters and mains. The risotto was a little overdone, and I've never seen a Cioppino with potato in it; I've ordered a lot over the years. We found it a bit noisy, but we're coming to understand that that's what counts as ambiance these days. I'll probably give Cotto Al Mare another try, likely a lunchtime pizza on the patio.

Not as fab as I was expecting.It was good but not great.For the price, the portions could have been a bit more generous.We were not allowed to have an empty window seat as it was reserved. In the time that we dined and left , no one used the table.
