The pasta selection is simple and the guests first chose their pasta and then choose from a list of sauce and ingredients to accompany their pasta. Grief I tried her Tartufo-Fettuccin, or truffle mushroom with 63 degree onsen egg in a rich, creamy sauce that is soaked with truffle oil and garlic charms, an asian-inspired dish, which were tied in white wine fresh shrimp, garlic confit , Chili, olive and lemon juice. The Fettuccine was well done, but the truffle was too mild and unsatisfactory. The sauteed shrimp were not as fresh as I would prefer, and the accompanying sauce was incompatible with the shrimp.
Small but special. Toki delivers delicious, clean, bright flavours true to the ingredients. The restaurant offers a simple choice of three pastas (spaghetti, linguine or fettucine) and your choice of nearly 20 different sauce styles. I liked this approach as it was easy to decide what to order and was in line with the simple, straightforward approach used in the cooking itself. With pastas starting from $10, the pricing is competitive. You had, of course, the usual entrees, sides and desserts as well. We ordered garlic bread & bruschetta to start; spaghetti polpette (meatball) & linguine amatriciana with a garden salad; and finished with strawberry pannacotta. Garlic bread was a little light on garlic/butter flavour but the bruschetta was lovely - the tomatoes were crisp and well-seasoned. The mains were the real showstopper – the pasta was fresh (thank goodness!!) and cooked well – and both sauces had intensity, richness and great balance. Absolutely loved the meatballs. The strawberry pannacotta was a good one, perhaps lacking a bit of bounce but nonetheless creamy and tasty. Overall I had a good time; the waiter seemed a bit uptight at first but became much more friendly later on. Definitely would go back for the pasta – awesome stuff. Kudos!

Excellent place for dinner! Dried on the way home from the beach and is waiting for a Saturday at 630 no cards. Grief Grief We have the fungal and garlic star starter: amazing. Bread was cooked to perfection and shrimp were big and juicy and super fresh. Grief For web we had the Gamberi with Fettuccine, Penne Pollo Aglio Olio, Linguine Toki and Zucchini stripes with the new Toki. All dishes were so good that there was no residue. The service was fast. They made one of our orders, but it was not a big deal, and it landed the court we ordered fantastically. Grief Chili oil is offered at the table, which is a great victory for my friends and me :) Grief Definitely returning (personal favorite was the Linguine Toki !!)
My friend has heard positive reviews of Toki, so we decided to give him a go. It was much smaller than I imagined (about the size of a room), but I think the saying "Good things come in small packages," is true because Wow. Everything about this place from the service to the food was amazing. We went to a group of 3 and decided to order the "Funghi" as an entree. Since this entree came only with 2 portions, the waitress was enough to give us 3 portions. I am not a fan of Parmesan cheese, so you were more than happy to remove Parmesan out of my piece. Best degay I've ever had! The mushrooms were cooked to perfection and beautifully cut. The garlic taste was incredible. At this point I had extremely high expectations on the net. Once again, the waitress was extremely welcomed and allowed me to have my pasta without chili (which was in the menu), she also made the effort to ask me if I did not want Parmesan cheese on my pasta, what I thought What I thought Enter the area of the area. I had the pollo Cacciatore-Pasta, who ever filled in individual expectations I had. The pasta was cooked by Al Dente, the chicken was tenderly and grilled to perfection, and the pasta sauce was unreal! My friends both ordered the Pollo Aglio Olio, a thought generous for their dish. I searched in Sydney after an above-average pasta place, and I definitely found it. Prices is cheap, the service is fantastic (we do not wait long for our food!) And food is beyond amazing. I can not wait to return!
