Your staff were lovely. Dinner was really nice, although I the meat slices were so thin you could see through them. Pudding was to small and there was no Eaton Mess. Thanks team for responding. I left a 3 star review for a couple of reasons. The food overall was quite cold. There wasn't clear labelling on the gravy to know if it was vegetarian or not. The dessert was poor, the brownie was rock hard and so had to send them all back to the kitchen. They were however replaced to another dessert. We had dinner here last month service was excellent. Food was served hot the atmosphere was great. Our waitress Sam was lovely really cheerful helpful what an asset to the restaurant. However breakfast was a complete contrast terrible. There simply were not enough staff to cope with the footfall. Although the three staff on duty were literally rushed off their feet they were still happy cheerful. It was very busy the food was not particularly good at all some of the dishes were swimming in grease the scrambled eggs were rubbery it was not particularly hot. As a regular visitor to these establishments, I was disappointed with this visit. An early morning breakfast was the order of the day. At 08:30, we arrived to be re-buffed. We have 400 booked in for breakfast, if you 're not booked we can 't help you. After negotiations, we were pointed towards the bar. It turned into a good solid breakfast as long as we sorted it ourselves. Good job we knew the system as there was zero help from the staff. If they had 400 booked, then surely more staff was needed!
