If they drive from sydney to the south, this should be their brunch stop....delicious!

Passes fussy don's long black coffee test with 11/10. the best coffee I know. I love the little chicken pies with salad and their fantastic, and I think unique, sauce/marinade . one day I'll try one of the other meals, the soups look sensational!

Great location and grounds/space outside the cafe for kids.

This is my usual stop between Sydney and the capital. Good coffee and a cozy location, the staff are always friendly and welcoming

Recently my husband went to Australia for a team sporting event. The banquet was held at this place. He was so appalled by the $120 he paid for the meal for two, he asked me to write his review. The appetizers were a choice of oysters or duck, but his table was only offered oysters and told if they didn't want to eat those, they should just pass it along to somebody else. When they were finally given duck with mashed potato, all of it was cold by the time it was served. The main course was a choice of beef or fish. There was no vegetarian option offered. Rare beef was the only choice, it was a small portion of food with mashed potato and one spear of broccoli. It was also cold. There was no dessert and no coffee or tea were provided. The service was also not great, they didn't have enough people working and the tables were not cleaned off properly between courses. The server that took care of my husband's table was sloppy and unprofessional. The grounds and buildings were first class. However the wine tasting and appetizers ahead of dinner were tasty but the venue totally miscalculated the number of people they could handle in the separate building. Overall this was an unpleasant meal and they went to McDonalds on the way home. This was supposed to be a final banquet for a big event, and many of the attendees left disappointed.
