Amazing food and ambience. We've enjoyed a lot great food and everything we had at G Bar was absolutely delicious. We had the meatballs, warm beet salad, lamb chops, steak, pappardelle and Brussels sprouts. World class. Chef Greg should be nominated for James Beard

We have been going to G bar and kitchen in Swampscott since we moved here eleven years ago and have never had a bad experience or a bad meal. I had my favorite, duck with veggies, noodles and hoisin and it was delicious as usual. If you like shrimp give the crispy shrimp appetizer a try, we love it. I have tried most all of the meals there and all have been excellent.

As long standing patrons of Gs back in the early days, we learned tonight of an all new staff! Alex was fantastic he was so helpful with ideas and lovely to meet. Amazing appetizers of mushroom strudel and the always delicious shrimp!

We were seated promptly for our reservation. It was busy. They have a lot of patrons. The menu is short but there's something for everyone. My husband ordered the special for the day. Pan seared scallops with whipped mash and arugula. He loves it. I had the Chicken Milanese, it was not to my liking. It was dry bordering on tough. But all in all, the experience was wonderful. All the staff were awesome, making sure they were available. We'll probably give this restaurant another chance. Probably.

Appreciated the new GM coming to speak with us. The server was very attentive without being intrusive. The menu has lots of tempting dishes And I chose the duck noodle it was very tasty but unfortunately the duck was overcooked for my taste. My dining companions chose the eggplant parmigiana very good but not legendary) and the scallops cooked to perfection)
