Írjon visszajelzéstI can't quite find the words to describe the atmosphere and food—it was truly unique. I absolutely loved it! During my travel care mission in Melrose, I even dined here twice. I might just order another meal from here to enjoy once more at the nearby fair.
The restaurant offers stunning views of Boston and the ocean, with tables spaced at least six feet apart for added privacy. The sunset views are fantastic, enhancing the dining experience. While waiting for our meal, we were treated to delicious popovers. Since it was my birthday, they thoughtfully added a candle to my dessert, which was a lovely touch. The place wasn't too crowded, and the food was great overall.
This restaurant is truly beautiful, and the staff is incredibly friendly, all dressed in a stylish manner. We had dinner there, and I must say, the food was flavorful—it felt like dining in a fine restaurant in France. Even the antipasto plate was thoughtfully curated and well-presented. I appreciated that they don’t follow the trend of drowning everything in sauce, which often masks the natural flavors. The whisky-infused dish was excellent, too. Expect to spend around $70 per person, but it’s definitely worth it. They also have a great selection of wines.
Haven’t been to the Hawthorne by the Sea in years. Went in for a light lunch and cocktails with a friend. I had a shrimp cocktail, my friend got the baked clams a la Anthony we both got the yummy Glover salad, of course popovers and marinated mushrooms it was all delicious. We also had delicious expresso martinis. Recommend going I think they may be closing which is sad.
One of the finest restaurants on the North Shore! We hold all our family gatherings here! And the popovers – delicious!
