Akropol Family Restaurant & Dining Room

Been going to Akropols since I was a young child growing up in swift current! Always a delicious meal and the staff is like family.

Celebrated our anniversary here while in Swift Current for Heritage Days. Had a great experience. Good food and good service. Would come again!

I'm super confused what everyone is talking about. Maybe because they don't have many other choices in this small town. First of all the food is claimed to be homemade and yet it is the most bland food all three of us have ever had. The hot hamburger was average at best served with frozen medley of veggies from a bag. The fish n chips were the worst I've ever had. I'm not even sure there was real fish in that very thick batter. It tasted like fish from a can. The fries are McDonalds style which I'd rather not have in a restaurant as they get stone cold so quickly. The Reuben sandwich was served with brown bread instead of traditional rye which was odd. The ketchup she brought out was frozen solid so we couldn't use it. My meal was suppose to come with dessert however I was never offered it. Turns out it was a scoop of ice cream anyways. So why bother. The service was pretty good though so that's what the 2 stars were for. They did ask us if everything was alright and we did lie and say it was all good. We just didn't want anything else after all 3 meals were not good at all. I think I will stick to A & W off the highway on my next pass through.

Always good service and good food. Patio is awesome and very good atmosphere! Will definitely always go back when I'm in town. Lota of items on the menu!

We needed a place for dinner and didn't want fast food. This place was a short trip from the TransCanada on Main Street in downtown Swift Current. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. The Akropol Pizza (size Large) fed the four of us (2 adults/2 kids) and the service was very quick. The one thing that could be improved was the pizza didn't seem hot all the way through - maybe it's because there were so many toppings. Nice atmosphere, will stop there again!
