El Mexicana - Swindon

I recently visited this restaurant for a quick lunch and ordered a burrito bowl with mixed carnitas and veggie chili. Unfortunately, I found the meal to be extremely bland and uninspired. It was one of the least satisfying meals I have had in a long time, even compared to a simple egg and mayo sandwich from Tesco. I wish I had opted for that instead and saved money. The staff were friendly and attentive. The poor quality of the food cannot be blamed on them, but it seems like the management would be better suited for producing dog food.

This place in Swindon is without a doubt the best spot to get a Burrito from. Unlike other places, this restaurant fills their burritos with your choice of filling, which was a pleasant surprise when I picked up my order as they were quite dense and heavy. You definitely get your money's worth here. Their Mexican fries are seasoned perfectly and the portion sizes are much larger compared to other places in town. Overall, I highly recommend stopping by here if you want a satisfying meal in a hurry. I will definitely be ordering from here again.

I was shocked when I ordered an XL beef Burrito for £17 and saw the beef being weighed out separately in a sauce cup before being added to the burrito. It was so little that it was barely noticeable once wrapped up. I was told it was only 120g of beef, making it feel like a small portion. This experience was disappointing and felt like a rip off. I have been eating at this restaurant for 5 years and while it has always been average, I will not be spending my money here again.

Absolute joke. Flavor, portion size, time it took to get the food.

Have been a regular customer but it has been horrible since last few times. I had paid for guacamole but it was not given. Toppings were too less. It was rather dry. Today I found a hair inside my burrito bowl!
