The Freke Arms - Swindon

Just had Sunday roast here. Tasteless beef Looked and tasted like packet beef Thin watery gravy. Overcooked Yorkshire pudding burnt Not worth the £15. Also £5.50 for pint of lemon& lime!

We were only offered Sunday lunch, but it was very good. We also enjoyed the delicious cheesecake. Overall, it was a very nice meal.

My partner and I, along with another couple, had lunch at this restaurant on October 18th. The menu offered a wide variety of choices to suit all tastes. Our group ordered a vegan curry, vegetable sausage and mashed potatoes, regular sausage and mashed potatoes, and a mixed cheese baguette with crispy fries. We also treated ourselves to chocolate fudge cake, cherry Bakewell cheesecake, and vegan cheesecake for dessert. Every dish was prepared and presented beautifully, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The service was quick and efficient, with the staff being friendly and attentive. They even happily provided extra custard for those who wanted to add it to their cheesecake. We found the prices to be reasonable, and would happily return to this lovely pub restaurant.

The roast dinner was delicious, with plenty of vegetables to go around and the roast potatoes were outstanding. The staff were friendly and the service was excellent.

Great food, great service and value for money. I had Roast pork which was lovely and tender and lovely cooked roaste potatoes and perfectly cooked veg.Looking forward to try more on the menu
