Langhoff Juul - Syddjurs

Super fine hotel with stunning views. However, prices do not meet the experience. The rooms are in 2000 DKK with own sea-facing balcony, but you live almost with your neighbours, and you can hear people’s private conversations and without problems stand and glo into its neighbor’s room and even bed, even if you don’t want. The rooms in themselves are incredibly beautiful and charming and really nicely decorated. The service was fine, but not comparable to other places that take DKK 2000 per night. The breakfast must be purchased separately and was also very costly (about 200 pp), although quite boring. The eggs were cold, the same was bacon. The Yoghurten tasted and looked like the petit danone with a little crumble and the cinnamon angel was from bake-off in Kvickly. All in all, the hotel should decide whether they will deliver the quality as the price sets up or screw down and deliver satisfactory quality.

It was a wonderful Gastro stay, authentic and very homey. I think the service could have been better. When buying a bottle of wine for 800 kr and there are only 4-5 tables occupied, I believe that the waiters could be more aware of filling up and generally be a little more present. I even lowered my glass all the evening to see if the waiters would react, but it did not. It was not even busy. The food was good and tasty.

We got a 4 dishes menu, and all dishes were such very delicious and well prepared. The court was a pea soup which was served beautifully at the table. The next dish was carpaccio, which was served as a portion of the dish, which made it unpretentious meats with rabarber. Third right was mulled as tasted amazing. The Dessert was once again a part of it was almost ugly when it was shared. The operation returned to wish. We sat long without being offered drinks. When the English-speaking waitrice finally she was not able to present the wines. In the middle of the meal there was neither wine nor water on the table. Operation was simply not aware of despite there was quite a few guests. The dinner was not worth the money.

Thanks to Langhoff Juul for a stellar experience during a Friday to Sunday wedding party. The hotel makes the most out of its outstanding waterfront location. Just like their restaurant in Aarhus, the food and hospitality are top-notch, uncomplicated and make you feel welcome and relaxed. We'll definitely be back for more!
