GPO Maximus Cafe - Sydney

Nice place a little away from the madness. If rating service only would be an excellent. Poached eggs were average standard fare average price. Will be back for location - nice setting - and service - and to try the coffee at some stage.

This is convenient; has reasonable coffee; is pleasant and unremarkable. It seems to be a popular place.

Located in 1 Martin Place, the Maximus Cafe is a perfect place for a quick bite without the fuss. It is nothing more than a few tables and chairs in the middle of a building but the food is excellent.

Stopped for a quick lunch : Turkey and Swiss on wholewheat toasted with side salad; Tea and Mineral water. Quick and pleasant service, reasonable food and price.

This place is never going to win awards for service or their food but for business catchups in the city in a place that is for all weather I always return here. Open and airy in a lovely old building.
