Kao Kao - Sydney

Ønsket et enkelt måltid på kvelden. KaoKao hadde ett ledig bord. Bestilte vegetar springrolls og nudler m/beef og to pils. Maten kom veldig raskt og smakte utmerket og porsjonen var stor. Dette var en gledelig overraskelse i forhold til andre steder vi har spist i byen. Prisen var det ikke noe å si på.Anbefaler stedet

This place is a gem. It doesn't even show on Google Maps yet. We found this place a few days after the bad experience we had at Naruone. It is small and cozy. The staff is friendly.We asked for table for two. They have tables for 6, 4 and 2 people. Only 3 tables for 2 people. When we got there, 2 of the 3 tables for 2 people were taken. We were sat at the back of a fridge, right by the access to the kitchen and counter. A very high traffic zone. Try to avoid that table. Once sat, we were served a bottle of fridge cold tea and some cabbage. We are used to hot tea but this one was very good! We had wonton soup, egg and chicken fried rice and "garlic fried chicken". When we ordered, we were asked which serve size we would like for the "garlic fried chicken". We chose medium thinking it would be enough for two. We were wrong. The "medium" size can easily feed 3 or 4 people, they are very generous. The only "garlic" thing of this dish is the garlic mayonnaise they give you to dip the chicken in. Wonton soup was delicious. Perfect for that cool rainy day. Egg and fried rice was nice. They use real pieces of chicken breast to cook it. Very tasty. They also care about how the dish is presented when taken to the table. Nice "dome" shape with green veggies on one side.

After a long day sightseeing we were looking for somewhere local to our hotel to eat. There was no need to go further. Great food and friendly service in a casual environment. Amazingly sized portions even at $15 for a main. Great share size plates. Would recommend.

한국스타일 중국식당. 아무 생각 없이 걷다가 한글간판을 보고 들어왔는데 음식이 맛있네. 한국에서 먹은 거랑 완전 똑같은 짜장면. 종업원도 모두 한국인인데 엄청 싹싹하고 친절하다. 메뉴도 한국어, 매장에서 한국노래가 나온다. 여기가 시드니인지 한국인지 헷갈릴 정도. 대박 나길~

Visiting the city we found this little gem. The staff were very helpful and the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend
