Recess Coffee House Roastery - Syracuse

We sell alot of homes in the university area in Syracuse so we spend alor of time at recess coffee. It's a great coffee shop with the best atmosphere. I love being able to sit outside near all the action. They sell coffee to go and other products as well. Its an experience not just a cup of coffee. Great place, decent coffee, but an espresso drink takes age. No matter how many people work, or how many people are in line, they only seem to have one person with the espresso machine. And after 3 days in a row that comes here, I can certainly say that none of the people who work the espresso machine is ever interested in working efficiently. Today I waited for a drink almost 10 minutes and at that time they only made 2 drinks. I've never been to a café that's so slow.

Beautiful lil cafe with great drinks, sandwiches and small bites. A favorite as a student and 3 years after graduation I still return when I am in Syracuse.

Stopped here on the way through Syracuse a few weeks ago. I got an iced oat milk latte and gluten free muffin both which were tasty. My only complaint was the line was out the door and the organization of people was a bit chaotic. But it was also a holiday weekend right around when school resumed. I’ll definitely go back next time I’m in town.

I had so much fun here, liked the cold brew coffee and the plain bagel was to DIE for, 100% recommend going especially with friends
