Salt City Eatery - Syracuse

I will not be returning to this restaurant. We had to wait three hours for our food when we were told it would only take 45 minutes. By the time I called to check on our order, all other places to order from for the kids were closed, so I couldn't cancel. The staff refused to provide an estimated time for our food or even confirm that our order was being prepared. They told me to just be patient.

I was a bit nervous after reading reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food at this restaurant. The homemade cakes were especially tasty.

The food was excellent. The burger was outstanding and the staff is really friendly.

Ribeye was overcooked and shrimp and grits were ok, but definitely not worth $22.
