Harbor Lights - Tacoma

Honestly, I was a little nervous about going to another fish joint and being disappointed. I'm spoiled with Wally's and Anthony's in Des Moines, but I couldn't be farther than dead wrong. I ordered the sirloin beef dip, and my friend ordered the fish and chips. Both are excellent. High quality, fresh, timely, and not super costly. The dining area is quaint, and the views are off the hook. Romantic inexpensive date night without having to dress up. Highly recommend

We have been dining here for years. It’s always been very good. The staff is terrific. HOWEVER, I’m writing to ask if you have brought back the baked potato and hash browns options for sides. Someone in “CORPORATE” decided that in order to save a few pennies, rice would be sufficient as a side. Well it’s not sufficient. And we haven’t been back since. We miss your good food, though it has gotten quite expensive. And we miss your wonderful staff. But we’ve voted with our feet and we go elsewhere. Way to go “CORPORATE “.

This is one of the staples to eat at in Tacoma. Nothing super fancy. Just great seafood and service is a fantastic waterfront location. It's been there for years... Sunday is the best night to eat there, I think. They often have good specials then... Very old school service. Nothing pretentious... I had calamari appetizer and their nectar clam chowder (not cream based)... Very tasty. They have great halibut too. Always served in different ways depending on the season... Love going there for the classic cocktails too, especially the manhattans. Parking is easy to find.
